Schedule

Scheduled Indexing

Copernic Desktop Search can perform regular index updates. This means that it will automatically scan your files and email folders to find new or modified items and index or reindex them when necessary. Items that have not changed will NOT be reindexed.

Default schedule for each categories

Updates Every Day: Emails Organizer History Favorites
Updates Every 4 Days: Files Pictures Music Videos
Updates Every 5 Days: Google Drive OneDrive Dropbox

Important: CDS needs to run to carry out an index update, just minimize it to the system tray. If CDS or the computer is closed at the time of the update, the update will not take place. Upon restarting, CDS will verify whether it missed an automatic update and if it did, it will carry out the update immediately.
