Help Contents

Copernic Desktop Search provides you a direct link to its online help service.

Reach the Copernic Desktop Search online help:

    • In the Help menu, click Help Contents or use the F1 key.
    • The Copernic Desktop Search online help will appear in your default web browser.

Show Introduction

You can display the software introduction dialog using the Show Introduction menu item. This allows you to have a quick recap of the primary functionalities of Copernic Desktop Search.

Export the list of results:

    • In the Help menu, click Show Introduction.
    • The Welcome to Copernic Desktop Search dialog will appear in the primary section of the application.

About Copernic Desktop Search ...

You can display the About window using the About Copernic Desktop Search ... menu item.

Display the About view window:

    • In the Help menu, click About Copernic Desktop Search ...
    • The About window should appear in the primary section of the application.

Check for Software Update

You can notify the update service to see if there is a new version of Copernic Desktop Search available using the Check for Software Update menu item.

Check for software update:

    • In the Help menu, click Check for Software Update
    • The Software Update dialog will appear.
NOTE: COPERNIC DESKTOP SEARCH WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTACT THE UPDATE SERVICE AT EACH STARTUP TO MAKE SURE YOU DID NOT MISS ANY AVAILABLE UPDATE.
NOTE: YOU CAN JOIN THE "EARLY ACCESS UPDATE PROGRAM" IN THE ADVANCED OPTIONS TO OBTAIN MORE UPDATES.

Give us Feedback ...

You can send your feedback to our sales and support teams about your Copernic Desktop Search experience using the Give us Feedback dialog available by clicking the Give us Feedback ... menu item.

Send your feedback to the Copernic Desktop Search team:

    • In the Help menu, click Give us Feedback ...
    • The Give us Feedback dialog will appear.
    • Type your name in the Name field.
    • Type your email address in the Email field.
    • Select a Feedback category in the Select a category ... drop down.
    • Optionally, attach your log files automatically using the Attach log file check box.
    • Optionally, attach any file deemed relevant with the Attach a file button.
    • Write a quick text to express your feedback in the Provide additional details field.
    • Click on the Send button, located at the bottom left corner of the dialog, to send your feedback.
    • Close the dialog with the Close button located at the bottom left corner of the dialog.
NOTE : ANY RESPONSE TO YOUR FEEDBACK WILL BE ANSWERED BY EAMIL AT ADDRESS DEFINED IN THE EMAIL FIELD.
NOTE : LOG FILES MAY CONTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS EMAIL TITLE, FILE NAME AND FILE LOCATION.
